JAMMU, Oct 8: Trust Mandir Shiv Ji Maharaj Bijbehara has maintained that it was looking after the said temple and its assets very well and hence no new caretaker was required for the same.
In response to the media report, according to which Vijeshwar Devsthan Trust has announced to look after all temple properties and assets of Tehsil Bijbehara, the Trust Mandir Shiv Ji Maharaj held a meeting of the trustees under the chairmanship of President S K Dubey and made it clear that the said temple was its Milkyati temple.
“It is our Milkyati temple and its assets and properties belong to sons and grandsons of Late Harji Lal and Late Nand Lal of Bijbehara Temple,” they said and maintained that they were looking after their temple and assets thereof very well.
“Vijeshwar Devsthan Trust Bijbehara has nothing to do in respect of our Trust Mandir Shiv Ji Maharaj. We are still alive and perform our affairs very well,” they said.
Pertinent to mention that Vijeshwar Devsthan Trust had recently held a meeting wherein a decision was purportedly taken to look after all temple properties in Tehsil Bijbehara and the concerned authorities were urged to register the name of trust as caretaker (Muhatmeen) with immediate effect.
