JAMMU, Oct 8: Former Minister Sat Sharma along with J&K BJP General Secretary Dr. Devinder Manyal, local Councillor Neelam Nargotra, J&K BJP Media Incharge Dr. Pardeep Mahotra and Mandal president Keshav Chopra started the construction work of Guru Nabha Dass Community Hall which is being constructed at Guru Nabha Dass Sabha in Ward 40 of Jammu West Assembly segment.
Yash Pal Shivgotra (District President SC Morcha ), Sachin Nargotra, Rahul Nargotra ( Mandal Sec.), Abhishek Sharma (Social Worker Ward 40 ), Sham Lal President of Sabha and Team, Jagyadutt Sharma ( A.E.E ) Subhash ( J.E JMC ), Supervisor JMC, Om Ji, Mohan Lal, Joginder Kumar, Raj Kumar Manyal and others were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that the existing hall at the Guru Nabha Dass Sabha was already catering to the needs of local people in their social needs. He said that these places hold great significance in the society and it is our prime duty to develop such places which hold a great religious importance and are also readily available with almost no heavy cost on their budgets in their social and familial needs. He also asked the persons present to follow the deeds of these great persons in their day to day life.
Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal said that these great persons gave us the lesson of brotherhood which is much needed in the present day society. He also spoke on the life and teachings of Goswami Guru Nabha Dass Ji Maharaj, a great Saint of the 16th Century whose birthday is celebrated every year on 8th April.
Neelam Nargotra said that the present hall will be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 11.32 Lakh, Fin. Year 2022-2023, and the funds were allotted to the Councillor under the Capex budget(Councillor Funds). She said pending works in the ward would be taken up in coming times with the guidance of former MLA to solve remaining problems in the Ward.
Dr. Pardeep Mahotra said that this was the much awaited work which has been taken up and it also showered happiness amongst the followers of Guru Nabha Dass. He said that BJP leaders following the footsteps of Prime Minister Narendra Modi have reached out to masses in every area and solved their grievances from time to time.
