KATRA, Oct 9: Semi-decomposed body of a male pilgrim from Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh was found today at Tarakote Marg, enroute to Mata Vaishno Devi shrine in Katra.
The deceased has been identified as Ramnayan (40), son of Banaras, resident of Gorakhpur (UP). The body was found in an isolated area falling deep behind a bathroom at Tarakote Marg.
On being informed by some locals, Police shifted the body to CHC Katra for postmortem and registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
