JAMMU, Oct 11: Sixteen players of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory have been selected for Senior National and Master Classic Powerlifting Championship (Men & Women), scheduled to be held at Chandrapur from October 12 to 16.
The office bearers of the Association including Ajay Sharma general secretary, Rahul Sawhney senior vice president and Anshuman Sharma executive member gave best wishes to the team. The team was selected by All J&K UT Power Lifting Association on the basis of the recently conducted J&K UT Powerlifting Championship.
Women team: Diksha Kapoor, Puneet Kour, Sakshi Koul and Amita Devi.
Men team: Aditya Sharma, Jagdev Singh, Shabir Ahmed Bhan, Ubaid Hafiz, Amandeep Basan, Vikramdeep, Dr. Sairab Alam Bhatt, Vickramjeet Singh, Shalinder Charak, Raman Gupta, Parveen Kumar and Umesh Raina.
The team is accompanied by Ajay Sharma (National Referee).
