DODA, Oct 13: In shocking visuals emerging from Doda district, a pregnant woman is seen being carried on a cot to a nearby road so that she can be shifted to a nearby hospital.
In the visuals that are viral on social media, a pregnant woman covered with blanket, is seen being carried over shoulders by some men through a narrow ‘kuccha’ road. In the video, one of the men carrying the woman on the cot is saying that it is an emergency case of delivery and there is no proper road connectivity due to which they are forced to carry the woman on cot to a nearby hospital.

“There is also road at some distance but the ambulance does not come. We appeal DC Doda to ensure that the ambulance should come at least to that point where there is road. This is an emergency delivery case, if something bad happens to this woman who will be responsible,” the man carrying the woman said.
However, the place of this grave incident could not be established.
