Digvijay compares Modi with Ravan

AHMEDABAD, June 13:
Referring to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts to project himself as ‘Vikas Purush’, Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh advised him to shun ego and arrogance.
Mr Singh, who was here on a private visit last evening, told mediapersons at the city airport here that Mr Modi should understand that King Ravan had turned Lanka into a golden kingdom but asked what had happend to him?
On the recent controversy involving social activist Anna Hazare and PMO, Mr Singh said he had seen the letter sent from the PMO to Anna and nowhere it has termed the veteran Gandhian an anti-national.
Mr Singh, who is known for his controversial comments, had recently sympathised with senior RSS Pracharak Sanjay Joshi, who subsequently resigned from the BJP. (UNI)
