Tribute paid to Dr Kalam on his birth anniversary

JAMMU, Oct 15: Chairman Jammu & Kashmir Intellectual Civil Society New Delhi, SS Sodhi along with the members of the society paid rich tribute to the former President of India, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam on his birth anniversary, today and recalled his immense contribution to the nation.
Recalling the rich legacy left by Dr Kalam, SS Sodhi said that Dr APJ Abdul Kalam was a great teacher, scientist, author, and eloquent speaker who dedicated his life to teaching and inspiring students to become the best version of themselves by delivering numerous insightful lectures to students across universities in many nations.
He said that Dr Kalam exuded an extraordinary intellectual and inspiring energy which inspired and motivated every student who heard, read or met him. Even the teachers could draw valuable inspiration from Dr Kalam’s life in helping their students become proficient in their respective fields.
As World Students’ Day is also observed on the birth anniversary of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, Sodhi urged all educationists all over India to observe the day as a reminder to practice promotion of education and love for their students.
He said that following the footsteps of Dr Kalam, teachers need to provide a vision to their students based on fundamental values, which they can practice throughout their life.
