JAMMU, Oct 15: President Chamber of Traders Federation Neeraj Anand and other prominent persons from various Associations joined BJP in the presence of hundreds of supporters, here today.
J&K BJP president Ravinder Raina, general secretary (org.) Ashok Koul, former DyCM Kavinder Gupta and other senior party leaders welcomed the new entrants into the BJP.
Parveen Gupta, Raman Gupta, Abhinav Anand, Manohar Singh, Ramesh Khajuria, Rahul Malhotra, Baffar Shah, Sahil Jain, Ankit Manawa, Balwinder Singh, Pooja Kapoor, Dr. Sharika, Suvidha Jain, Manvinder Kour were among the other prominent present during the joining programme.
Welcoming the new entrants into Party fold, Ravinder Raina said that the trade fraternity worked for the welfare of people during the harsh Covid lockdown times. “We have witnessed that Neeraj Anand along with other trade members was actively helping the needy with the distribution of essentials,” Raina said.
He recalled that Neeraj Anand along with others also donated liberally into the PM relief fund at that time. He said that most of the people present here are actively helping out the society in every time of need.
The people of Kashmir gave a tremendous response to the rally of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Raina said, adding that today our hands are further strengthened with this joining.
Ashok Koul said that BJP is a revolution of ideology. He said that the stalwarts like Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay ji and others have laid a strong foundation of the Party. He said that since the inception, the Party has taken up all the revolutions urgently needed for the betterment of the society and the Nation.
Kavinder Gupta said that BJP believes in working together and positively works with the thought process of “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas”. He said that this very thought process has attracted these prominent persons into the BJP family.
Neeraj Anand thanked BJP leaders for the warm welcome and said that he along with other new entrants will work dedicatedly for the betterment of trade in the UT.
