JAMMU, Oct 15: Dr Harkirat Kaur has been conferred with degree of Doctorate of Medicine (DM) in Neonatology by Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
She was awarded with a prestigious degree by Anandiben Patel, Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Brajesh Pathak, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and Mayankeshwar Sharan Singh, Minister of State Health and Health Education during 27th Convocation of the Institute.
Dr Harkirat was born in Jammu City, has earlier done her MBBS and MD (Pediatrics) from GMC Jammu with excellent academic record. After that she cleared her NEET S.S. exam and joined SG PGI Lucknow for a super speciality course. She is also one of the youngest doctors in the Union Territory to earn this degree award.
