UDHAMPUR, Oct 8: Over 50,000 pilgrims from within and outside the state visited the holy cave shrine of Shri Mata Pingla situated in village Pinger, about 20 Km from Ramnagar Tehsil of district Udhampur, and paid obeisance seeking blessings of revered Goddess.
The Akhand Jyot Committee Ramnagar, today on the occasion of 4th Navratra, presented O.P.Jandyal Sadhbhavna Puraskar to Nav Sainik Kewal Singh (posthumously), the Submarine tragedy victim. The honour was received by mother and brother of Kewal, Jitender Singh which was presented on the recommendation of the executive committee of Akhand Jyot Committee that unanimously approved a resolution presented before them thereby selecting Nav Sainik Kewal Singh for the presetigious award.
