CMO provides new Ambulance to PHC Peeri

RAJOURI, Oct 16: Chief Medical Officer Rajouri, Dr Abdul Hamid Zarger handed over a new ambulance to Primary Health Centre Peeri for the use of patients.
This new ambulance will greatly help in improving the access to quality healthcare services in this far flung areas of Rajouri. He interacted with the Medical staff and passed on the directions for further improvement of healthcare services in the area. Dr Zargar assured for taking appropriate steps to improve quality of healthcare services.
It is pertinent to mention that Department of Tribal Affairs J&K has provided 6 ambulances, 3- Xray Machines and 3 Dental Chairs to Health Block Kandi for improvement in healthcare infrastructure. Earlier, ambulances were provided to difficult areas such as Budhal which has significantly improved healthcare access to patients.
DDC Chairman Shazia Kousar and BDC Chairman  Javed Chowdhary thanked Tribal Affairs Department for providing these ambulances which will help greatly to the public in the far flung areas. BMO Kandi, Dr Iqbal Malik also accompanied CMO Rajouri during the visit
