Narotam starts repair work of lanes-drains

JAMMU, Oct 17: Senior BJP leader and Councillor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Narotam Sharma of Ward Number 3 here today started repair work of lanes and drains at different areas of his Ward.
These repair works will incur an estimated expenditure of Rs. 5 lakh.
Senior BJP leaders including State vice president, Yudveer Sethi; East Mandal president, Parveen Kerni and locals of the area were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion JMC Councillor Narotam informed that the repair of lanes and drains in the area was a long pending demand of the Ward residents and after the completion of these works the locals will heave a sigh of relief.
He assured the Ward residents to leave no stone unturned for providing them quality roads, lanes and drains and other necessary facilities.
Those who were present on the occasion were Amit Khanna, Ward president, Vidya Devi, Anuradha Sharma, Sanjay Abrol, Subash Chandra Sharma, Ravinder Gupta, Darshan Kumar and others.
