SAMBA, Oct 18: A man has lost his life in a road accident here this evening.
A scooty was hit by a truck at Samba main chowk leaving the scooty rider seriously injured.
With the help of locals and police the injured was shifted to District Hospital Samba where he was declared brought dead.
The deceased has been identified as Sukhwinder Singh, 25, son of Makhan Singh, resident of Pathankot, Punjab.
Body of the deceased has been kept in the hospital mortuary for postmortem.
Police has registered a case in this regard and started investigations.
