RAJOURI, Oct 9 : Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Shantmanu, convened a meeting to review the physical and financial achievements under different schemes for the current fiscal in district Rajouri, here today.
The Divisional Commissioner took a detailed review of achievements under various sectors and asked the concerned departments to expedite the ongoing projects for timely completion.
Threadbare discussion was held on various other developmental schemes such as up gradation of Hamilton Bridge by way of replacement with double lane plate girder decking and release of matching state share for certain NABARD schemes at different phases.
District Development Commissioner, Rajouri, F. C. Bhagat, informed the meeting that an expenditure of Rs.16.56 crore has been expended under the capital component and Rs.10.11 crore have been utilized under the revenue component. He also apprised that an amount of Rs. 6 crore is required to clear the land compensation cases of R&B department.
The DDC also apprised of the damages caused to public properties and infrastructure due to heavy rains and floods occurred in August.
SDM Nowshera, ACR, Chief Planning Officer and other district officers of various departments were present.
