ADGP interacts with IPS officers undergoing Army attachment

Excelsior Correspondent JAMMU, Oct 20: Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu Zone, Mukesh Singh visited the border areas in Akhnoor Sector and interacted with IPS officers undergoing Army attachment. In his address to the probationers, the ADGP urged them to take this opportunity to understand the conditions under which security forces guarding the border operate. He also asked them to make full use of this army attachment period to improve their tactical and operational skills to be ready for field assignments. Singh told the probationers how the synergy between Army and other security forces and intelligence agencies helps to bring down terror activities thereby creating an atmosphere of peace. He appreciated the efforts of the Army authorities to take care of IPS probationers and to acquaint them on border issues and associated security concerns.
