7th death anniversary of Kanshi Ram observed

JAMMU, Oct 9:  Bahujan Samaj Party remembered the messiah of down trodden Kanshi Ram on his seventh death anniversary, today, through out the Jammu province.
District level functions through Jammu province were observed in the State. A similar function was held at BSP headquarters Narwal Pain, Satwari wherein office bearers and other functionaries of both districts of Jammu and Samba participated in large numbers.
The function was presided over by Rattan Lal Chargotra, State vice president, Tushi Dass Langeh-State president BSP was the chief guest.
The function started with profusely garlanding of the portrait of Kanshi Ramji by the dignitaries, which was followed by the missionary songs by B S Thappa, coordinator Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency.
Tulsi Dass Langeh, State president, BSP, while addressing threw light on the life and mission of Kanshi Ram. He termed him to second to Bharat Rattan Dr B R Ambedkar.
Rattan Lal Chargotra, State vice president, termed Kanshi Ram as true saint of the era, who worked  hard to awaken the down trodden masses about the rights enshrined in the constitution of India framed by Dr B R Ambedkar known as father of the Indian Constitution.
Leaders who spoke on the occasion were Som Nath, Jadgish Raj Verma, Rakesh Wazir, B D Thappa, Ajab Singh, Pawan Gupta, Ravinder Singh Pappu, Dalvir Singh, Dr Harjeet Kumar, Bansi Lal Choudhary, Ahoudhia Kumar Manawa, Raja Singh, Tilak Raj Bhagat, Bansi Lal Marh and others.
