UDHAMPUR, Oct 25: A two-wheeler showroom and a wooden shop were damaged in fire in Shiv Nagar and Ramnagar chowk area respectively here.
As per police sources, fire broke out in a two-wheeler showroom at Shiv Nagar area late last night. The fire also broke out in a wooden shop at Ramnagar Chowk.
On getting information, teams from concerned Police Stations rushed to the spot and informed the Department of Fire and Emergency Services.
Fire fighters along with tenders rushed to the spots and started operation to douse the flames. After hectic efforts, the fire in the showroom and wooden shop were brought under control.
No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident, while the exact loss could not be ascertained yet.
Udhampur and Ramanagar Police have taken cognizance in this regard.
