Srinagar, Oct 25: The National Medical Commission (NMC) has released a list of Medical Colleges and Institutions which have been authorized to conduct Compulsory Rotating Medical Internship (CRMI) for Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) in J&K.
Apart from several other Medical Colleges and Institutions across the country which have been authorized for the same, the list also includes 10 such institutions from J&K.
The Medical Colleges that have been authorized for CRMI include AIIMS, Vijapur with 5 FMG seats, Govt Medical College, Srinagar, 14 seats, Govt Medical College, Jammu, 14 seats, SKIMS, 9 seats Acharya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences, Jammu, 8 seats and GMC, Rajouri, Kathua, Baramulla, Anantnag and Doda, 108 FMG seats respectively. The total seats which will be available for FMGs in J&K are going to be 540.
