JAMMU, Oct 10: The District Institute of Education and Trainings (DIET) Jammu organized a District Level Quiz Competition in social science at DIET Jammu, here.
40 students from various schools of district Jammu participated in the event.
The quiz competition was conducted by the team comprising Rita Gupta HoD (I/c IFIC Wing), Anita Badyal HoD (Programme coordinator), Darshana Devi HoD , BD Sharma, Lecturer and JP Singh, Lecturer.
The team-C of Govt HSS Shastri Nagar represented by Muskan secured first position, team-B of Govt SRML HSS represented by Rukhsar Akram secured second, while team-E of Govt HS Deeli represented by Kamini Devi secured third position.
The prizes and participation certificates were distributed to the participating students by the chief guest, Arif Iqbal Malik, Principal DIET, Jammu.
The sole aim of the quiz competition was to update and aware the students with the present scenario of education in general and help them to identify and solve the challenges of life by acquiring skills, knowledge and attitude.
The vote of thanks was presented by Anita Badyal HoD DIET Jammu.
