SRINAGAR, Oct 27: BJP district Srinagar under the Presidentship of Ashok Bhat organised a grand Shauriya Divas function here, today where former Minister and party general secretary, Sunil Sharma was Chief guest. This is for the first time this type of programme has been organised where it was fully made to known that the people of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir totally rejected Pakistan and it’s ideology and they tied their fate with mother India.
On this occasion Ashok Bhat while addressing said “We the people of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir are lucky enough as we are with the nation which has strong Prime Minister and who is working hard to make the nation strong, developed, self reliant and prosperous. I am proud of my nation, my Union Territory, he added.
He said “We are much pleased and must never forget sacrifice of son of the soil Mohammed Maqbool Sheerwani and other martyrs who fought Pak raiders. Besides, role of Maharaja Hari Singh was remarkable that J&K has become a part of developed nation”.
Bhat further added had the then Prime Minister, Jawahar Lal Nehru not wasted and delayed for months POJK also would have been the part of our mother India”. Besides, they celebrated the occasion by bursting crackers and distributing sweets and lighting the streets and party office on the occasion.
