JAMMU, Oct 28: A meeting of Central Armed Police Forces Warrior Welfare Association (CAPFWWA) J&K was held today at Press Club Jammu under the chairmanship of chief patron of the Association Rakesh Sharma, Inspector General (retired) BSF, to discuss the problems of CAPF retirees.
Ram Lal Dogra (Assistant Commandant), Surjit Singh (zonal president Akhnoor), Som Nath (retired Inspector) vice president Thoru Ram (retired Inspector), Baldev Raj (AC), Kaka Ram (retired AC) president Nagrota zone, Mohd Mazid, president Samba Chhankar Singh (Inspector), zonal president Sunderbani Jagdev Singh and Sham Lal Mehra were present in the meeting.
Addressing a press conference after the meeting, Ram Lal Dogra (president of J&K unit of the Association) informed the media persons that Narinder Singh (retired Additional Director General of BSF) and Sham Kapoor (retired DIG BSF) has also joined the Association.
Speaking on the occasion, Narinder Singh and Sham Kapoor assured that they are committed to lead the Association for the welfare of retired Central Armed Police Forces Warriors.
