JAMMU, Oct 28: National Democratic Party Indian (NDPI) here today elected Rajesh Gupta as Party’s J&K president unopposed.
The appointment was made by national NDPI president, Sandeep Turki.
Briefing about his Party at a press conference, Rajesh Gupta said: “Our main priorities are women, youth and progress.”
He appointed Jayotsna Ved as chairperson of NDPI Advocate Cell and Jammu District president of youth wing.
Rajiv Luthra was given the responsibility of NDPI J&K vice-president.
Rajesh Gupta listed absolute unselfishness, simplicity, avoiding run after ostentation and to be a person of judgement as qualities of a leader and stressed on love for the poor.
Rajiv Luthra said J&K needs true leaders.
Jayotsna Ved said that BJP leaders have no concern about genuine issues and problems of Jammu.
Tilakraj, national general secretary; Umesh Manhas, NDPI national joint secretary; S. Kuljeet Singh, national organizing secretary; Treasurer, Mirchand and Atul Gupta were also present on the occasion.
