UDHAMPUR, Oct 30: The police recovered two stolen scooties and arrested one person in this connection in Udhampur area.
Official sources said that based on the report lodged by Parul Sharma, daughter of Parshotam Lal, resident of New Plot, Jammu regarding theft of her vehicle (Scooty) bearing registration number JK02CK- 4197 from Bansa Morh, Tikri, Udhampur, the police registered a case FIR No. 142/2022 U/S 379 IPC at PS Rehambal.
During investigation, police party led by PSI Abdul Satar and assisted by Insp Rajesh Sharma SHO the police picked up some suspects. During sustained interrogation, one suspect namely Sudanshu Gai, son of Satish Chander, resident of Patoli, Jammu broke and confessed his involvement in lifting of said scooty and on his disclosure police party recovered the stolen vehicle (scooty) from Lehnoo area of Tikri.
On his further disclosure, police party recovered another stolen scooty bearing registration number JK02BH- 2912 which was stolen from Nawabad area of Jammu against which case FIR No. 128/2022 U/S 379 IPC has already been registered at Police Station, Nawabad, Jammu.
