kishtwar, Oct 11: A member of Village Defence Committee (VDC) today allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his rifle here today.
Sukh Raj (31) of village Bandera Kuntwara fired a bullet at himself from 303 rifle at his residence in Bandera-Kuntwara around 5 pm, police said.
His body was shifted to District Hospital Kishtwar, they said, adding a case has been registered and the matter is being probed.
