JAMMU, Oct 11: BJP leader, Prabhari Samba district and State publicity secretary of the party, Aseem Gupta has expressed grave concern over the power failure in Trikuta Nagar, Deeli, Kunjwani Satwari, Gangyal and other adjoining areas after the hail storm and rains today.
In a statement issued here he said that the infrastructure of power supply is so weak that it could not withstood half an hour hailstorm and rains that lashed the Jammu today.
He said the power supply was off at 3-30 pm in these localities and upto 10-30 pm in the night it was not restored which reveals that PDD needs overhauling itself.
Gupta while criticizing the Government termed its claims on development totally hollow. He said that no steps were taken till date in putting the defunct PDD on rails and improve infrastructure.
