DODA, Nov 2: The residents are irked over the worst condition of the road from Sunwara Chilly to Bhotali and warned to launch agitation if the concerned authorities failed to maintain the road.
While talking to the Excelsior, locals residents Haji Mohd Abass Khan and Jia Lal said that the road is in dilapidated condition since long and no one from the authorities are bothered about it.
Chowdhary Mohd Arif, another local resident lamented that the entire 6 kilometer of road from Sunwara Chilly to Bhotali said that the construction work of the road was launched several months back, but it is not completed till today, which create problems for the commuters and the pedestrians.
“Due to worst condition of road and lack of proper drainage system, the commuters are facing manifold problems. This problem increases during rainfall as the said road turns accident prone,” he said.
The residents flayed the concerned authorities for not maintaining the road.
They appealed to the Deputy Commissioner Doda to intervene into the issue and initiate necessary action, so that the people will have some sigh of relief.
