KATHUA, Nov 3: Girdhari Lal Dogra Memorial (GLDM) Government Degree College Hiranagar released ‘Quality Reporter’—a newsletter for the month of September and October, 2022 to showcase different initiatives and undertakings of the college.
The newsletter was released in an event presided over by the college Principal, Dr. Pragya Khanna in presence of other staff members.
Through this newsletter the college envisaged strategic planning in context of finances, budgeting, staffing and academic programming as fundamental to the development and progress of the institution.
Further the mission and vision of the college was re-emphasized through this newsletter. The college through this newsletter has reiterated the promotion of quality education, empowerment of women and introduction of innovative courses to develop all round personality of students and to offer a wide choice of courses in various disciplines at UG level.
The programmes and courses depicting the same are included in this issue of the newsletter.
Principal of the college in her address described that Internal Quality Assurance Cell of the college was formed with the vision to work for the excellence in academics as well as to synergize all the constituent units including stakeholders of the college.
She said that the Cell has lived up to the name by playing a greater role in congregating institutional effort for delivering the quality assurance.
The function was attended by Prof. Gurdyal, Dr. Davinder Kaur, Member Secretary, Prof. Rakesh Sharma, Prof. Arun Kumar, Dr. Arun Kumar, Dr. Bharat Bhushan, Dr. Mukesh Kumar and Mahima.
