JAMMU, Oct 12: Non Camp Migrant Organisation (NCMO) in its meeting here, today held under the chairmanship of Nanaji Dembi its president has made an appeal to Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah and Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation, Minister Aijaz Ahmed Khan to allot the quarters at Jagti township to migrants putting up in rented accommodations whose verifications were recently done by the Revenue authorities on the instructions of Relief Commissioner Jammu.
In a statement, it said these families are facing hardships for over last two decades and are unable to bear the rent as market prices have touched sky.
The meeting also demanded enhancement of cash to Rs 15,000 per month per family and providing of soft loans to over aged migrant youth for setting up their own business establishments.
