SRINAGAR, Nov 5: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) South Kashmir in collaboration with Govt Degree College Anantnag organized a seminar on the theme ‘Corruption free India for a developed nation’ to brief students and the staff about the ill-effects of corruption in the society, here today.
DC Anantnag, Dr Basharat Qayoom, SSP ACB South Kashmir, Rakesh Kumar, ASP Anantnag Amit Verma, Principal of the host College, Prof Muzaffar Ahmad Bhat and students addressed the gathering and spoke about corruption and its evil impact and how it can be checked and eradicated it from the society.
A detailed presentation about zero tolerance for corruption ,various aspects of corruption, agencies dealing with it, laws and rules, and how to approach the ACB were covered in the deliberation delivered by the SSP ACB South Kashmir. Contact details of ACB were also shared with the audience for registration of complaints of corruption.
The speakers stressed upon common masses to be the eyes and ears of anti-corruption bodies and contribute their bit towards making India corruption free.
Meanwhile, a seminar was also organised at Deputy Commissioner Office Kulgam, wherein DC Dr Bilal Mohi-ud-din Bhat was the chief guest, and guest of honour was GV Sandeep (IPS). The DDC Chairman Mohammad Afzal and all District HOD’s were present and spoke on the menace of corruption and its evil impact on society.
