IGNOU Regional Centre signs MoU with CSU, opens Study Centre

JAMMU, Nov 7: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) Regional Centre Jammu today officially signed an MoU with Central Sanskrit University (CSU) Jammu.
The ceremony was held at Shri Ranbir Campus of CSU at Kot Bhalwal.
The MoU has been signed in view of establishing a regular Learner Support Centres for Master of Arts in Jyotish, Master of Arts in Sanskrit, Masters in Vedic Studies and Certificate in Yoga programmes under the Regional Centre Jammu.
The Centre has been allotted Code 12137. For the upcoming December 2022 Term-End Examinations of IGNOU, the University has also established an Examination Centre in Shri Ranbir campus Kot Bhalwal of CSU.
Regional Director I/C, Dr. Sandeep Gupta, Assistant Regional Directors Dr. Asha Upadhyay and Dr. Vikram Singh from IGNOU Regional Centre Jammu and Director CSU, Jammu campus, Prof. Madan Mohan Jha, Dr. D. Dayanath and Dr. Madan Kumar Jha from CSU Jammu campus were present on the occasion.
“I call upon every individual across the region, who is interested in Astrology, Vedic Studies, Sanskrit or Yoga, irrespective of any upper age bar, to enroll for these much-in-demand and fascinating programmes,” said Dr. Sandeep Gupta, Regional Director In-charge.
