4 burn in LPG blast in Shimla

SHIMLA, Oct 13:
Four, including a woman and three children, sustained burn injuries when a LPG cylinder blasted at Jatough cantonment, outskirt of this capital town early this morning, police source confirmed.
Investigating Officer Harish Chandel said Satya (38) wife of Rajkumar and three boys namely Tarun(15), Nitin (20) and Vikrant(9) got burn injuries at 0515hrs in blast of LPG cylinders as its leakage was sparked by nearby Refrigerator. The victims belonged to the same family.
The impact of blast was so strong that roof and second story of ill fated building ground but all injured in the mishap managed to rescue themselves some how before it could came down on them. The owner of house was out of home when mishap occurred.
The injured were rushed to IGMC hospital here. The woman was reportedly got 25 percent burn injuries. The mishap render the two household homeless in the cold weather. Three boys have been discharged after the first-aid, he added. (UNI)
