RAJOURI, Oct 13: Government has failed to provide basic civic amenities to the people.
This was stated by PDP candidate for Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seat Yash Pal Sharma while addressing series of public meetings at Sunderbani and Kalakote areas.
He said that the casual approach being adopted by the Government the residents of the rural areas were not getting basic necessities like drinking water, health facilities etc.
He said that during the last nearly five years the Government has not taken even a single step to mitigate woes of the people.
“Miseries of the residents of hilly areas have been increasing with every passing day but the Government is apathetic towards solving the problems”, he added.
District president Qayoom Dar, AB Shah, Farooq Lone, Dr Gian Singh, Anjum Mirza and Moti Lal also spoke on the occasion.
