DODA, Nov 11: DIG DKR Range Headquarters Batote Dr Sunil Gupta today visited the accident spot at Prem Nagar where four persons were drowned along with a vehicle in Chenab River and reviewed rescue operation.
Abdul Qayoom (SSP Doda) and SHO Police Station Thathri were present on the spot where rescue operation is being carried by the District as well as police authorities to trace out the missing persons.
DIG briefed the rescue team and officers/officials present on the spot to gear up the evacuation operation and leave no stone unturned to find out the missing persons.
Dr Gupta also directed the enforcement agencies and NHW authorities for the creation of parapets, sign boards and other safety measures along/on the road to avoid such type of incidents in future.
