JAMMU, Nov 11: J&K BJP president, Ravinder Raina in presence of former legislator and BJP leader, Balwant Singh Mankotia today inaugurated much awaited Dogri movie ‘Aaun Aan Shinda’ by Suman Kesar Productions and AB Films in PVR 2 in KC Theatre, here. Raina on the occasion highly praised Dogri artists.
Other prominent persons present on the occasion included Arun Prabhat BJYM president, Rajinder Sharma, Mayor Jammu and Rohit Dubey, BJP leader.
While congratulating the artists, Ravinder Raina said that they deserve full appreciation for becoming a torch bearer to promote and preserve Dogra culture by focussing on Dogri language.
He said that he expected the younger generation should follow suit by coming forward to disseminate the richness of Dogra culture not only in Jammu but across the nation and abroad to make the people aware about the niceties of this old yet rich heritage through their performance in various fields including theatre, folklore and folk music, Dogri songs, literature, etc.
He said that there is dire need to encourage local artists who can preserve and promote the rich folk-lore of this region which forms an essential part of the cultural heritage that needs to be conveyed to the future generations.
Speaking on the occasion, Balwant Singh Mankotia lauded the talent of the local artists and said that the way they were promoting Dogri language by their efforts, was appreciable.
He appealed the locals present there to make their children to speak Dogri as it will help to promote local language.
Renowned anchor and actor of J&K, Dharun Kesar has played lead role in the movie.
Others who have acted in the film were Suman Kesar, Aman Sharma, Hitesh Mahajan, Shivani Wazir, Ashish Kohli, Sugam Bral, Rahul Khatri, Arun Sharma, Amrik Singh, Rekha Sharma, Subash Jamwal, Rimjhim Anand, Sheetal Rakwal, Manik Sharma, Ankur Sharma, Ishan Mansotra, Shekhar Sharma, Neeraj Sharma, Aditya Bhanu, Lucky Khatri, Puneet Gupta, Rishabh Manhas and Rakesh Chalotra.
The film has been produced by Suman Kesar, story conceptualized by Shilakha Sharma, dialogues given by Vikram Sharma.
The film is directed by Aditya Bhanu, music is given by Gautam Ganesh, songs written and composed by Chaman Lehri while Post Production was done by Neeraj Badyal.
Sanjay Sharma, Heeramani Singh, Rajesh Khajuria and Manik Koul did cinematography of the film and make up was done by MJ Colour Trends.
