JAMMU, Nov 11: Indian Spinal Injuries Center (ISIC) is organizing OPD for bones and spine-related issues in Jammu at Medicare Nursing Home, Gandhinagar from November 14. The OPD will be held from 11 AM to 4 PM.
Dr Ankur Nanda, Senior Consultant Spine Services and Dr Vivek Mahajan, Senior Consultant Orthopedics from the team of experts of Indian Spinal Injuries Center, will be present in the OPD for the examination and consultation of the people.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Ankur Nanda said that people have to work sitting on a chair for a long time, which becomes a problem of pain in their spine, so people should avoid working sitting on a chair continuously. Even if there is any such compulsion, one should keep walking in between. People should walk for at least 30 minutes a day or do exercise and yoga, due to which the bones of their body remain flexible. If there is any bone-related problem, then consult the doctor immediately. We have robotic equipment with world-class technical facilities which play a vital role in spinal surgery.
Dr Vivek Mahajan, Senior Consultant Orthopedics, ISIC, said that many types of problems related to ortho come into people’s lifestyles, like knee pain, back pain, hip pain, elbow pain, or bone pain in other parts of the body. Now, there is no need for them to live with the pain in compulsion because surgery is a very safe means for their treatment and this facility is available in ISIC. If anyone has problems related to pain in any part of the body, they can get rid of them.
