MENDHAR, Nov 12: Revenue Department today conducted an anti-encroachment drive in Mendhar town and retrieved over 7 kanal 9 marlas of prime State land occupied illegally by some persons.
According to the reports, at around 9 AM today, a team of Revenue Department led by SDM Mendhar Jangir Khan, Naib Tehsildar Mendhar, Mukesh Singh along with a Police team led by SHO Mendhar, Niyaz Ahmed, at two locations near Mini Secretariat removed the encroachment about 7 kanal 9 marla in Khasra No. 555.
Around 2 structures including permanent and makeshift were demolished at the site by the Revenue team with the help of a JCB machine.
SDM Mendhar said that many locations state lands have been identified in Mendhar, on which people have illegally occupied.
