KATHUA, Oct 14: Minister of State for Fisheries, Cooperative, Finance and Planning, Dr Manohar Lal Sharma, along with MLC Subash Gupta convened a public grievances camp in border village Haripur today.
Locals in large number projected their issues and urged for early mitigation of the same. The issues highlighted included new separate border block at Marheen, compensation for rain affected crops, provision for stadium at Haripur and availability of revenue record at respective tehsil headquarters.
Dr Manohar, while speaking on the occasion, said the State Government with liberal funding from the Central Government has devised various schemes to improve the socio economic condition of the people.
He assured the people that all their demands and problems will be fulfilled in a time frame manner.
MLC Subash Gupta also spoke on the occasion.
