RAJOURI, Oct 15: A kidnapped girl hailing from Rajouri was recovered by police from Chandigarh today.
Reports said one Sameen Kouser, daughter of Ghulam Hussain of Kotranka was allegedly kidnapped by one Shashi Pal, son of Sham Lal of Raj Nagar in Kathua on September 27. The parents of the girl lodged report with Kotranka police. The police party from Rajouri on the basis of clue from kidnapper’s father recovered the girl from a house in Chandigarh. The kidnapper was arrested and the girl restored to the family after medical examination.
