UDHAMPUR, Oct 15: The elections of Student General Body (SGB) were held in Government College for Women (GCW), here.
Class representatives of BA/BSc/BCom-I, II and III were elected and about 44 class representatives were elected in the College.
The class representatives further elected the members of student executive body.
Sakshi Sharma was elected as president, Shreya Gupta as vice president, Poonam as general secretary, Shovina Jamwal as treasurer, Shivanjali as cultural secretary, Meenal Sharma as literary secretary and Gulshan Bano as sports secretary.
College Principal, Dr Yudhvir Singh congratulated the elected members. Dr BB Sharma, Dr Seema Rani Manhas and Sudesh Kumar were also present during the elections. The elections were held under the supervision of Prof Ravinder Kour.
