PDP demands streamlining of recruitment process in Govt jobs

JAMMU, Oct 15: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) demanded streamline of the recruitment process vis-à-vis direct recruitment in Government jobs.
This was stated by PDP candidate for Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seat Yash Pal Sharma while addressing series of public meetings at Purani Mandi, Brij Nagar, Krishana Nagar, Simbal Camp and other areas.
He said that there is no need of appointing youth on contractual basis against over one lakh vacant posts in various Government Departments.
Sharma also demanded regularization of all the contractual employees.
Terming the Omar Abdullah led Coalition Government as non-performing liability, Sharma sought support of the people to change the prevailing inefficient and corrupt system in the State.
PDP was committed to establish a transparent and accountable system to provide all comforts to people, he said, adding that PDP wants to establish a system where every citizen would get equal opportunities of upliftment and development.
Among others present were Trilok Singh Bajwa, Ved Mahajan, Shanti Devi, Hussain Ali Wafa, Bhushan Dogra, Deepinder Kour, Sohit Sharma and Choudhary Chuni Lal.
