Court directs police to proceed in complaint on Bapu Asaram’s Ashram

JAMMU, Oct 15: Special Mobile Magistrate Electricity Jammu (Duty Magistrate), Balbir Lal Jaswal today directed the Nowabad Police to proceed further in a complaint relating to Asaram Bapu’s Ashram at Bhagwati Nagar.
In the complaint filed by one Vikrant Sharma, it has been alleged that in the month of September 2013 when Asaram was arrested one Bola Nath alias Vinod Gupta started contacting the complainant on his telephone and tried to seek help from him for creating evidence in order to implicate Asaram Bapu.
Initially complainant was astonished to hear from the accused about his intentions but gradually the complainant came to know that Bola Nath was trying to implicate Asaram Bapu in false cases. On this, the complainant informed Narinder Singh and some other persons and on their advice started recording the telephonic conversation of the accused.
According to the complainant, Bola Nath asked him to arrange some girls or women who can level false allegations on Asaram and the identity of the girl shall not be disclosed. He also asked complainant to help in creating false evidence so that whole of the family of Asaram is sent to jail.
In the complaint, it has also been alleged that Bola Nath appeared in news channel and stated that there are dead bodies of children buried in Bhagwati Nagar Ashram of Asaram Bapu. Bola Nath even asked the complainant to arrange skeletons of dead persons from Muslim graveyard and bury them in Bhagwati Nagar Ashram.
After going through the contents of the complaint filed by Vikrant, Special Mobile Magistrate Electricity Jammu (Duty Magistrate) forwarded the complaint to police to proceed further and file report in the matter.
