PNB distributes school bags, notebooks to children

JAMMU, June 14: Executive Director (ED), Punjab National Bank (PNB), Usha Ananthasubramnian, today distributed school bags, copies and three computers among the children of Bal Niketan Orphanage, Ambphalla, in a function held at Bhagwan Gopi Nath Ashram, Udhaywala.
Addressing the children, the ED advised them to work hard and never feel disheartened as the world around them is full of good and helpful people.
She further advised them to work hard and pursue careers in Engineering, Medical Science, Administration and other professions according to their choice and if need be come to PNB for any type of financial assistance.
She apprised them that any meritorious and deserving student can seek Education Loans upto Rs 4 lakh without any collateral security from the Bank.
Later the ED also paid obeisance at the Ashram of Bhagwan Gopinath Ji, renowned saint from Kashmir Valley.
Others who spoke at the function included Circle Head and Deputy General Manager, PNB, J&K Operations, Ashok Gupta, vice-president, JL Malla and Trustee of Bhagwan Gopinath Ashram, Udhaywala, MK Tikoo.
