JAMMU, Nov 19: A programme on Empowerment of Administrators for Good Governance and Sustainable Progress under the theme Spiritual Empowerment for Kindness and Compassion was organized by Om Shanti Meditation Center.
Rajyogini Sudershan Didi, I/C Brahma Kumaris J&K and Ladakh began the programme with welcome speech.
Arun Kumar Mehta, Chief Secretary J&K was chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion he said that spirituality is need of the hour.
“We should not tolerate the evils nor complain but should fight with them and then only our soul can become pure,” he maintained.
The guests of honour were Ramesh Kumar, Divisional Commissioner Jammu and J.P Sharma, Vice Chancellor SKUAST Jammu.
VC SKUAST said that kindness and compassion are invaluable virtues for humanity.
Rajyogini B.K Prem Didi, Northern Zone Coordinator and I/C Brahma Kumaris Mohali introduced about the latest project and Administration Wing of RERF (Rajyoga Research Education & Research Foundation).
Rajyogi Bhrata B.K Rattan, Northern Zone Coordinator, Youth Wing RERF gave introduction of Brahma Kumaris organization.
Vote of thanks was given by Rajyogini B.K Nirmal Didi, I/C Brahma Kumaris Gandhi Nagar Circle, Jammu.
