BJP all set to get over 150 seats in Gujarat: Kavinder

GANDHI NAGAR (Gujarat), Nov 19: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of J&K, Kavinder Gupta today said that scam tainted Congress will face a humiliating defeat in Gujarat once again this time as the people of the State are fed up with the unprincipled moves carried out by this oldest party of the country.
The senior BJP functionary was speaking here during a series of public meetings in connection with Gujarat polls. He said that Congress party has sidelined the iron man of the country, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and given the charge of Kashmir to Pt Jawaharlal Nehru, who committed a number of blunders especially in the case of Kashmir, and the entire country is facing the brunt till date.
Kavinder said that people know well that Congress in power means future of Gujarat getting into troubled waters therefore supporting this party could be suicidal for the people of this region.
Appreciating the State of Gujarat for its phenomenal contribution in the development of the country, Kavinder said that Gujarat not only ensured prosperity in the country through its outstanding role in boosting the economy of the country but it has also given two dynamic leaders-PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister, Amit Shah, who have changed the course of this country whether it is the defence sector, peace initiatives, development, healthcare, infrastructure and what not.
The former Deputy Chief Minister asked the people to extend wholehearted support to the party and ensure maximum seats in the forthcoming Assembly polls. He said that the target for Gujarat BJP is more than 150 seats to comfortably land in the Vidhan Sabha to carry forward the development initiatives and ensure seamless progress of the region.
Kavinder said that people of Gujarat State have high hopes and therefore they are looking at BJP with hope and lots of expectations therefore every worker should do his or her best to satiate the aspirations of the people. He said that the need of time is to make people aware about the achievements of BJP at grass roots level and its future plans to pace-up development in Himachal Pradesh.
