Coalition misusing public exchequer: PDP

JAMMU, Oct 16: Dubbing National Conference-Congress Government as opportunist coalition, the PDP today said that the common masses would teach a lesson to both the ruling parties in coming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.
Addressing public meetings at Kirpind, Phinder, Slehar, Rathana, Balle Chak and Salame Chak in tehsil R S Pura today, the PDP MLC and party candidate for Jammu- Poonch Lok Sabha seat Yash Paul Sharma today regretted that during the last five years there has been total mess and anarchy in the State because those at the helm of affairs have brazenly indulged into looting the State.
Terming PDP as the party of future, Mr Sharma said that it was the result of good governance of the previous PDP-led coalition that there is realization among all sections of the society that only PDP has the vision and commitment to address their aspirations. He said during his tenure Mufti Mohd Sayeed as Chief Minister of the State has proved that PDP leadership has the capability of changing life of the common masses by treating all individuals equally and providing equal opportunities to all sections of the society.
Mr Sharma told the gathering that PDP-led regime brought transparency and accountability in the governance by strengthening democratic institutions. All the regions were treated equally but special attention was given to the backward and neglected areas. He claimed that PDP led coalition fulfilled all the promises made with the public.
Prominent among others who addressed gathering included Ex-MP T S Bajwa, Bhushan Dogra, Deepinder Kour, Karan Singh, Bachan Singh and Rajni Nanda.
