Tributes paid to martyred jawan

Wreaths being laid on body of soldier killed in Pakistani firing in Poonch.

RAJOURI, Oct 16: Tributes were paid by the GOC Ace of Spade Division and Counter Insurgency Force to soldier who was martyred in Pakistani firing in BG sector of Poonch last evening in Bhimber Gali area last evening.
Lance Naik White Knight Mohd Firoz Khan hailing from Andhra Pradesh and presently posted in a Rashtriya Rifles Battalion was killed in unprovoked firing from Pakistan from across the Line of Control in BG area of Poonch.
Wreaths were laid on behalf of Northern Army Commander and General Officer Commanding Nagrota based White Knight Corps in a ceremony held at Rajouri today.
Hailing from Hyderabad 31 year old soldier was critically injured in firing from Pakistani side last evening. His body was later dispatched to Hyderabad.
Meanwhile, Andhara Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has expressed shock and anguish over the killing of Army jawan Feroz Khan on the LOC in Poonch sector of J&K. Feroz was resident of Nawabshah Kunta of Hyderabad.
