Sena demands arms licenses to minorities

JAMMU, Nov 22: Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) J&K unit here today staged a protest demonstration demanding issuance of arms licenses to minorities, especially Hindus, in J&K for self-defense.
The protesters asked the Government to provide free arms to minorities and give them priority to make arm licenses in J&K.
They raised slogans saying that Hindus also have right to live in Kashmir.
The protest was led by Manish Sahni, Shiv Sena J&K president.
Shiv Sena national organizer, Ashok Tiwari who is on two days visit to Jammu said the government has proved to be a complete failure in J&K in providing safe environment to Hindus in Kashmir and in curbing terrorism.
He said that minorities in Kashmir want to know if they are being resettled there to become victims of nefarious activities of terrorists.
Shiv Sena general secretary, G.I Singh; president Kamgar Wing, Raj Singh, Sandeep Sharma and others were also present in the protest.
