JAMMU, Nov 22: Government today accorded sanction to the constitution of District level Aadhaar Monitoring Committee (AMC) for monitoring Aadhaar related activities in concerned districts of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the Government order, District Magistrate will be the chairman of the Committee whereas a representative of District level Bankers Committee (manager of Lead Bank), District Co-ordinator CSC e-Governance, senior most District level officer of Nodal Department (for Aadhaar), a representative from UIDAI (appointed by DDG of concerned Regional Office of UIDAI) and a representative of District Magistrate (not below the rank of Additional District Magistrate) shall be its members.
The senior most District level officers of all the Government Registrars of UIDAI (one member each from School education Department, Social Welfare Department, Health Department, etc) and Districts Heads of India Post and India Post Payments Bank shall also be members of the Committee.
