JAMMU : Pakistan Rangers today violated ceasefire along international border in Ranbir Singh Pura and Pargwal Sectors of Jammu region, injuring a woman.
The woman identified as Nishan Devi, resident of Pargwal sustained injuries as Pakistan Rangers targeted forwards posts in Pargwal Sector of Akhnoor on city outskirts, a police official said here.
The Pakistan troops at around 1330 hrs targeted the Indian posts by firing small arms and automatics adding, “intermittent firing is continue on the border.”
The injured has been shifted to the Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu.
Earlier in the morning at around 1030 hrs Pakistan Rangers fired at forward Allah Mai Ke Kothe post of BSF in R S Pura Sector.
The BSF retaliated effectively adding that no injury or damage was reported in exchange of firing in R S Pura.
Pak Rangers yesterday also violated ceasefire in Samba Sector.
