JTC, SKF highlight problems of migrants

JAMMU, Oct 17: A joint meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) was held today under the chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita president of two organizations.
The meeting accused Government of not taking sincere measures for the rehabilitation of migrants and mitigating their sufferings in last 24 years of their exile.
Pandita demanded enhancement of cash assistance to Rs 15,000 per month per family with enhancement of ration also.
He also demanded immediate implementation of PM’s employment package, completion of work on 40 bedded hospital at Jagti, sports stadium at Jagti, posting of staff in hospital and schools at Jagti with allotment of ambulance in hospital and community hall for performing religious rituals of dead etc.
